Pastry Chef - Ro

Three Oaks Hospitality is seeking a skilled and dedicated Patry Chef to join our team and prepare baked goods and desserts. A successful candidate will be passionate about baking, attentive to detail, and eager to contribute to a creative and dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing, baking, and decorating pastries and other desserts. 
  • Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes. 
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and scales in a safe and efficient manner. 
  • Assist in creating new dessert concepts and testing recipes. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and equipment. 
  • Follow health and safety regulations and maintain food hygiene standards.
  • Inventory checks and restocking ingredients. 
  • Support in the set up and preparation for special events and large orders. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Excellent understanding of baking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with industry's best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Culinary school diploma preferred.
  • Valid Food Handlers certificate. 
  • Previous experience in a bakery required.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Remain standing for extended periods of time. 
  • Bending, squatting, and lifting up to 25 lbs. for short distances. 
  • Ability to work with varying noise levels.
